Evaluation of MPS against H2S, CO2, Cl- under HTHP

Results: The color of MPS has not changed, no bubbles, no under metal corrosion, slight adhesion loss by V type adhesion check; TK236 has performed similarly and slightly loses adhesion by V type adhesion check , DPC has bubbled and medium loss its adhesion by V type adhesion check

Results: The color of MPS has not changed, no bubbles, no under metal corrosion, slight adhesion loss by V type adhesion check; TK236 has performed similarly and slightly loses adhesion by V type adhesion check, TK216 has bubbled and medium loss its adhesion by V type adhesion check

Anticorrosion lab evaluationIn order to evaluate if MPS coating can work properly under acid and alkali operation, MPS coating samples are taken to State key lab of SWPI to have been tested, upper table shows the MPS samples had performed very well under high PH drill fluid, there is no corrosion occurred or adhesion damaged by high PH solution. The lower table shows that MPS has performed well too under low PH value, this test simulates acidification operation.

Evaluation of MPS against high PH alkali environment

Samples: 2 7/8” Tubing ring

Inspection: State Key Lab of SWPI

Equipment: 35Mpa autoclave by Cortest Co.

Environment: Simulated drill mud with MW2.0kg/cm3

Solution Feature: PH10, 100Mpa pressure, 120℃ temperature, Time 48h

Results: The color of MPS has not changed, no bubbles, no under metal corrosion, no adhesion loss by V type adhesion check


Evaluation of MPS against low PH acid environment

Samples: 2 7/8” Tubing ring

Inspection: State Key Lab of SWPI

Environment: Simulated acidification operation

Solution Feature: 20%HC1, 5Mpapressure, 80℃ temperature, Timel20h
